I was wondering if anyone knows if all this works when working on paper too? I need to apply oil paint on gold leaf on paper, and am a bit concerned about using shellac there, as it might do some damage to the paper underneath? Or will the gold be enough to protect it? I have tried to look for information on this, but couldn't find anything... Any ideas would be very helpful!
