Hi Carole. I asked Brad by email if he varnished his final works and he said he did. However, I didn't press him for details. He seems very approachable through his contact space on his website. If you get an answer and care to post it here for others to benefit from, feel free. I use either a diluted Soluvar or just spray the work with damar retouch varnish.
